POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an individual with experience selling into the long haul transportation industry to a broad array of geographical locations.
You will be empowered to promote the entire breadth of services offered: an integrated system of hardware, technology and data capacity designed for numerous telemetry applications, including resource tracking, real-time monitoring and effective management of assets in the field.
As a true driving force behind the development of new business you have an outgoing personality, are self motivated, aggressively pursue targets, and can work the modern tools for sales success such as MS office and CRM software.
The perfect candidate is a dynamic individual who combines the prowess of both the charismatic Sales Specialist and of the Technical Genius.
It has been identified on many occasions that the most successful business development professionals have a sound operational/technical background. This understanding of the product imparts a vast amount of credibility and creates a more equal foundation when meeting and discussing services with a potential client.

Primary Responsibility
- Provide consultative, strategic, customer focused selling of a diverse suite of tools enabling mobile assets in the field to be tracked, at any time.
- Build business relationships with senior management of existing and prospective target customers
- · Lead a project-based sales approach, teaming with operations, engineering, and other staff in order to delivering financial and operational value to the customer.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years demonstrated successful sales achievement as the primary owner of the sales process
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of industry experience with proven track record of sales performance
- Excellent understanding of industry segments in the vertical market and operations required.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, change management, initiative and planning skills
- Bilingual an asset
SALARY RANGE: A base salary plus a very lucrative commission plan, car allowance, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Long-haul Transportation and Logistics industry Professional Sales
EDUCATION: Post Secondary Education is preferred
