ResQ Mobile Services is a Canadian technology company that focuses on the delivery of customized GPS tracking solutions for enhanced business communications and processes. Using telematics and proprietary mobile data technology, ResQ builds wireless data solutions used for asset tracking & management, fleet tracking & management, workforce solutions, employee safety and customer service initiatives.
We’re currently looking to expand our installation network across Canada and are looking for technicians who are savvy self-starters to assume leadership roles and perform installations in their region.

This position is responsible to install, maintain and support ResQ’s suite of products and services as well. Additionally, this position is a key member of the Canadian Operations team in support of Sales efforts as well as on-site technical support to customers across Canada.
Qualifications:
· Valid Class ‘G’ license (required) with clean abstract (preferred)
· Strong understanding of vehicle electronics (Class ‘A’ mechanic preferred), education including electronics training required or commensurate experience
· Previous experience doing installations into vehicles (stereos, radios, gps, etc.) required
· Knowledge of and experience with GPS systems preferred
· Able to travel to customer locations (in province, in Canada, outside Canada)
· Willing to work outside regular business hours
· Great customer service skills, sales experience an asset
· Presentable appearance
· Good English communication skills
· Detail oriented and highly motivated
· Onsite facility available (an asset)
· Salary commensurate with experience

CEO Chad Hughes selected to speak at 2nd Annual “TransLog” Conference

(Toronto) — Chad Hughes, founder and president of ResQ Mobile Services, has accepted a speaking engagement at the forthcoming TransLog 2010 conference in Hamilton this June 15-16, targeting professionals in the supply chain, transportation and logistics industries. The two-day conference is being hosted by McMaster University and its theme is “Transportation and the New Economy – Strategy, Synergy and Solutions” The second annual conference offers an opportunity to share knowledge, perspectives and innovation with colleagues and to learn about the latest developments in transportation research and practice in addressing critical transportation and logistics issues.
Hughes will speak on the following critical topic related to Logistics and Goods Movement: Impact and Implications of GPS-enabled Tracking and Delivering Competitive Productivity. He will deliver a 20 minute presentation and answer questions from attendees afterward. “Long gone are the days of CB radios delivering critical messages to dispatchers and head offices,” says Hughes. “Valuable assets today, whether people, vehicles or entire fleets in the air, on water or on land, and in fact goods in transit, are being tracked very efficiently and effectively by gps-enabled systems.”
